CREATING NEW FORMS WITH FOUND AND SALVAGED ITEMS.

KRISTOFFER TENDALL IS THE CREATOR OF k10 MACHINES
Kristoffer Tendall was born and raised in Nevada City, California, and spent much of his childhood taking things apart. A degree in Architecture from U.C. Berkeley and a career in that profession taught him how things are put together. It took a little longer to figure out that those two things could be brought together in new and interesting ways. Now living in San Francisco, Kristoffer's work involves taking things apart or finding discarded items and putting them together in new ways that reveal a new (or implied) function.
Kristoffer's work explores the nostalgia of craft from past eras. Assembled from found and salvaged items k10 machines bring the dusty and rusty to life while exploring a level of craft and design that has been largely lost in today's society of disposable plastic.
